Environmental Planning
Environmental review and planning decisions, taught at the University at Albany.
Environmental Planning connects environmental review to the decisions facing municipalities and project applicants. Students examine visual resources, wetlands, and public participation through source documents, GIS, and field evidence.
I develop the course's workshops, assignments, and case materials. The exercises require students to explain what their evidence supports and how it bears on a planning decision.
